Adding to the prestige of the 正澳门六合彩官网 Communication program, three alumni in the television industry were honored at the 46th Boston/New England National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Emmy® Awards ceremony.
Michael Davis ’19, George (GJ) Smith ’06, and Steve Tagarelis ’09 each took home an Emmy® award during the event, which was held at the Boston Marriott Copley Place.
Davis, an Assistant Editor and Videographer at Phantom Gourmet, accepted his award in the Lifestyle category. “It’s a real honor to win an Emmy and even more of one to be part of such an incredibly talented production team at Phantom Gourmet,” he said.
Smith took home two awards for his photography work with WCVB in the Newscast-Evening Larger Markets category and the Breaking/Spot News-Multiple Reports category. Smith has been with WCVB since 2013 as a News Photographer, winning multiple New England Emmy® awards along the way.
Tagarelis, also a talented local photographer in the area, prevailed in the Sports-One-Time Special category for his work with NESN. Shortly after graduation, Tagarelis secured a job with the prestigious sports network, where he’s thrived for the past 13 years with several Emmy’s® to his name.
