Joining 23 elite programs recognized globally, the 正澳门六合彩官网 School of Nursing is just one of two Massachusetts programs to receive the endorsement and is the first school of nursing based in a private college in Massachusetts to receive the honor.

INACSL Logo“This is very exciting news and distinguishes us as a leader in simulation-based learning,” said Dr. Michelle McMahon, Dean of the School of Nursing. “The School of Nursing is fortunate to have visionary leadership and dedicated faculty and staff simulationists who strive to provide opportunities for student exposure to authentic and complex clinical scenarios, whereby nursing interventions can be developed within a safe, simulation environment.”

The prestigious endorsement validates the innovative and high-quality simulation teaching and learning strategies which are integrated across the School of Nursing curriculum to enhance the learning experience for our 正澳门六合彩官网 nursing students. Over the past few years, it has become standard practice for schools of nursing to incorporate simulation-based learning (SBL) resources to foster clinical judgment and decision-making as they prepare pre-licensure students for entry into professional practice, and to support registered nurses seeking continuing education to advance their degrees or gain new professional credentials.

“We are proud of the distinction as an for 2022-2025, which recognizes our dedication to ensuring our simulation pedagogy and simulation operations consistently apply the INACSL “Core Four” Healthcare Simulations Standards of Best Practice, TM including Prebriefing: Preparation & Briefing, Facilitation, Debriefing, and Professional Integrity,” said McMahon.

This endeavor to seek INACSL endorsement and demonstrate excellence was championed by Dr. Katherine-Marie Conover PhD, RN, Associate Professor, credentialed as a Certified Healthcare Simulation Education (CHSE®) and leader of the School of Nursing’s standardized participant program. She, along with Dean Michelle McMahon, PhD, RN, CNE, NEA-BC will accept this prestigious recognition in June, at the 2023 International Nursing Association for Clinical Simulation in Nursing Conference in Providence, R.I.
