Sheryl Cifrino has been teaching in the 正澳门六合彩官网 School/Department of Nursing since 2007. She is academically prepared as a health professions educator with a focus on utilizing simulation in nursing to enhance development of clinical judgement and reasoning in the academic setting. Dr. Cifrino continues to develop educational strategies for learner centered teaching in both the classroom and simulation laboratory settings.

Dr. Cifrino holds certification in healthcare simulation education and has worked in clinical areas during her professional career that include intensive care for pediatric burn patients, long term care and rehabilitation environments. Presently Dr. Cifrino teaches the  Advanced Evidence-Based Research and Statistical Analysis in the master's program.

Dr. Cifrino's interests include development of competencies that enhance utilization of evidence based research to inform clinical practice.
