Dr. Kendall is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and Sociology. She teaches a variety of courses at the undergraduate and graduate level, including Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminology, Domestic Violence, Methods in Social Research, and Corrections. Prior to coming to 正澳门六合彩官网, Dr. Kendall taught courses at Northeastern University focused on the intersection of psychology and the law. 

She completed her Ph.D. in Criminology and Justice Policy at Northeastern University, with a focus on violence and victimization, including sexual offending, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. Her dissertation examined the relationship between victimization and offending among Latino youth in the United States. During graduate school, Dr. Kendall also completed a Rappaport Institute Graduate Public Policy Fellowship at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. In conjunction with the Boston Mayor’s Office of Women’s Advancement and Boston Police Department, her worked focused on the role of the hotel industry in human trafficking in the city of Boston.

Dr. Kendall also completed her MA in Forensic and Counseling Psychology at William James College where her thesis focused on characteristics of intimate partner homicide offenders. Dr. Kendall has clinical experience doing mental health and sex offender treatment and assessment with incarcerated male offenders in two Massachusetts state prisons.

Dr. Kendall has been published in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence and Criminal Justice Policy Review and she has book chapters on a variety of topics including: notorious American crimes and criminals, desistance from sexual offending, and intimate partner violence prevention among underserved and understudied groups.

She currently serves on the board of directors of the Criminal Justice Policy Coalition, a local non-profit organization dedicated to achieving humane and effective criminal justice policies in Massachusetts.
