Dr. Lischinsky brings years of experience in trauma healing and restorative justice practices in working with incarcerated men and women, law enforcement, formerly incarcerated and survivors of violent crime. Dr. Karen Lischinsky brings years of experience in trauma healing in working with incarcerated men and women, police officers, correctional officers, formerly incarcerated, and survivors of violent crimes. She also facilitates groups in and out of prison on issues related to domestic violence, racism, sexism, homophobia, and classism. Dr. Lischinsky founded the Transformational Prison Project (TPP) in 2013, in response to incarcerated men at Massachusetts Correctional Institution (MCI) -Norfolk’s request for restorative justice programming. Her work cultivates compassion for the self and for others through a self-reflective process that moves toward healing and accountability.
