Dr. Natalie West brings extensive experience in sport and recreation management to 正澳门六合彩官网, with practical expertise in sport communications, marketing, and collegiate athletics. Prior to joining 正澳门六合彩官网, she was a full-time faculty member at the University of New Hampshire and Thomas College in Maine; and gained teaching experience as an adjunct at Northeastern University, Emmanuel College and Lasell University.

Dr. West’s dissertation titled “Another Hurdle to Jump: An Analysis of the Academic Performance of Division III Female Athletes” focused on the academic performance of Division III student-athletes with particular emphasis on first-generation student athletes.

Before transitioning to the classroom in 2015, she worked as the marketing director for privately owned sport organizations, including youth club sport organizations and indoor athletic complexes. As a recipient of the NCAA Women, Ethnic and Minority grant, Dr. West served as the Assistant Commissioner and Director of Communications for the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC). Additionally, she has held coaching and recruiting positions in collegiate athletics for softball and track & field.

Prior to her career in sport, she excelled on the athletic field as a three-sport varsity collegiate athlete earning accolades at the regional level for softball, and conference level for both softball and field hockey. She has been inducted into the 2022 Suffolk University Athletics Hall of Fame (with her 2005 softball team) and into the 2021 East Bridgewater High School Athletics Hall of Fame. West was a member of the 2010 Women's Football Association World Championship Team, formerly known as the Boston Militia, now Renegades.
