正澳门六合彩官网 is partnered with to offer our students a variety of early acceptance programs to medical school and dental school after completing their undergraduate studies requirements at 正澳门六合彩官网. These exciting professional programs include:
Early Acceptance Program Requirements
- Must not hold a bachelor’s degree or higher;
- Must have at least two years remaining as a full time student at 正澳门六合彩官网;
- Medical, Pharmacy, Podiatric Medicine Admission Test Requirements:
- SAT/ACT scores are strongly recommended but not required to apply, with the exception of the 2+4 and 3+4 Elmira medical track, which require a 1340 SAT or 28 ACT single exam score to apply
- Dental Admission Test Requirements:
- 1240 SAT or 26 ACT single exam score to apply
- High School GPA Requirements:
- Medical and Dental – 3.5 unweighted GPA or higher
- Pharmacy and Podiatric Medicine – 3.0 unweighted GPA or higher
- College Admission GPA Requirements:
- Medical and Dental – 3.40 overall and 3.30 science GPA
- Pharmacy and Podiatric Medicine – 3.20 overall and 3.00 science GPA
Note: - Students who do not meet the GPA requirements out of high school may still qualify based on their GPA their first two years at 正澳门六合彩官网. Students who do not qualify based on SAT/ACT scores may apply and subsequently take the MCAT or PCAT.
About Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM)
Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine is a leader in medical education, offering innovative and affordable education in osteopathic medicine, pharmacy and dental medicine. LECOM is among the most applied to medical schools in the U.S. Not only is LECOM one of the nation’s largest medical schools, it is the only Osteopathic Academic Health Center in the country.
LECOM offers students enrolled in these medical and dental programs a variety of campuses in which to study, along with a distance learning option:
- Dental Medicine - Bradenton, FL
- Podiatric Medicine - Erie, PA
- Osteopathic Medicine - Erie, PA, Greensburg, PA, Elmira, NY or Bradenton, FL
- Pharmacy - Bradenton, FL & Erie, PA (Distance education is available but with some restrictions)
Students interested in applying to the LECOM Dental Medicine 4+4 Track must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program before starting their third year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon submitting an AADSAS application, completing four years of undergraduate study, taking the DAT and successfully meeting certain GPA and other requirements, the student enters LECOM’s School of Dental Medicine the following July. LECOM graduates receive a Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) degree.
Students interested in applying to the LECOM Osteopathic Medicine 4+4 Track must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program before starting their third year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon completing four years of undergraduate study and meeting certain GPA and other requirements, students enter LECOM the following July. LECOM graduates receive a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
Students interested in applying to the LECOM Podiatric Medicine 4+4 Track must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program before starting their third year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon completing four years of undergraduate study and meeting the GPA and other requirements, students enter LECOM the following July. LECOM graduates receive a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (D.P.M.).
4+ Track
The LECOM Pharmacy 4+ Track is recommended for most students. Interested students must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program before starting their third year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon submitting a PharmCas application, completing four years of undergraduate study and meeting certain GPA and other requirements, students enter LECOM the following August.
3+ Track
The LECOM Pharmacy 3+ Track is available to all students but is typically utilized by the highly motivated student who wishes to enter pharmacy school before receiving their undergraduate degree at 正澳门六合彩官网. Interested students must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program before starting their second year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon submitting a PharmCas application, completing three years of undergraduate study and meeting certain GPA and other requirements, students enter LECOM the following August. 正澳门六合彩官网 may award the student a bachelor degree by utilizing credits from the courses taken while at LECOM.
2+ Track
The LECOM Pharmacy 2+ Track is available to the exceptional student who has the maturity and intellectual capability to enter a professional school after completing only two years of undergraduate study. Interested students must have a provisional letter of acceptance in the Early Acceptance Program by February 1st of their first year at 正澳门六合彩官网. Upon submitting a PharmCas application, completing two years of undergraduate study and meeting certain GPA and other requirements, students enter LECOM the following August. A bachelor degree will not be awarded by 正澳门六合彩官网.
LECOM graduates of these three track options receive a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) degree.
